Final Conference in Vilnius
On November 13th the Lithuanian NA organised a conference on validating mobility learning.
The VILMA partners were invited for a keynote and a 2 hes workshop in the afternoon.
It was a great event with more than 130 experts and quite a challenge for the team to facilitate 8 workshops. However, it worked quite well and people enjoyed it!
REVEAL Conference in Göttingen
6th European Conference on Validation and Evidencing Informal and Non-Formal Learning in Mobility Actions
June 1st 2012 in Göttingen, Germany
The first conference in 2012 was a valorisation meeting carried out with the REVEAL core partners in order to establish the organisational structure of the network.
In workshops worked on different service scenarios in regard to our core fields of activity:
- Validation of competences of groups and individuals in different learning contexts
- Establishment of counselling offers for learning and validation actions based on LEVEL5
- Regional, national and European trainings for LEVEL5
- Development of LEVEL5 related projects
We decided upon a common value proposition (business planning for 2012/2013) and eventually adopt the European network structure concept for the official inauguration our REVEAL network in 2013.
The meeting ended with an evening event in Göttingen with plenty of time for informal talks.

REVEAL Conference in Leuven
5th European Conference on Validation and Evidencing Informal and Non-Formal Learning in European Collaboration and Mobility Actions
14th of October 2011 in Leuven, Belgium
Over 60 educational experts and practitioners from more than 15 European countries, from different kinds of European projects, universities, schools and training institutes as well as national and European
decision makers and funding organisations took part in the conference.
The conference in Leuven was the first cluster meeting comprising the four LLP sectors Adult, Vocational, School and Higher Education. It has been developed in the framework of the VIP project dealing with validation of learning outcomes in European projects and partnerships. Within this conference we presented the outcomes of the VIP project, applied the instruments and created new opportunities for projects and services in the field of learning-outcome-validation.
The REVEAL Network
The REVEAL community offers evaluation, training and counselling to assess and evidence learning outcomes in informal and non-formal learning settings.
We strongly believe that there is a growing demand for an exchange of experience in regard to the validation of learning outcomes on the European level.
Hence we organise European seminars and conferences focusing on actual topics, presenting learning projects and informal learning activities to a large
European audience. The conference in Leuven contributed to the actual discussion of evidencing learning outcomes in collaborative projects, partnerships and mobility actions.
